Discover Diving Dive Center started in a garage with one diver's passion and a mission to share it. Founder Jerry Berndt launched the business in 1987, turning his love for scuba diving into a community focused dive shop. As interest grew, so did the need for space, and the shop moved to its current home at 92 Dunlawton Ave, in Port Orange, FL.
After 25 years, Jerry retired, and in March 2011 ownership passed to Michele Reed, a dedicated diver, educator, and PADI IDC Staff Instructor. Michele's focus on diver safety, quality instruction, and community continues to drive the center forward.
